There is a lot of buzz these days surrounding the upcoming Pakistani movie – Kaptaan. The movie is based on the life of Pakistan’s legend cricketer and politician Imran Khan. The story of the movie follows the events that folded in Imran Khan’s life post the cricket world cup victory in 1992. Tragic death of his mother to building first cancer hospital in Pakistan. From being the first chancellor of the University of Bradford to building Naml college. And, becoming a successful politician and social activist who dedicates his life to his country while struggling with his personal and spiritual ambguish.
The movie is written, produced and directed by Faisal Aman Khan, a Pakistani born and UK based filmmaker. The movie is produced with the permission of Imran Khan himself. According to the production team Imran Khan was reluctant to idea of movie on his life but the persistence of Faisal Aman paid off in the end. The movie will be released in fall of 2011 and is expected attract a lot of viewership in Pakistan and around the world.
The majority of cast of this movie are not professional actors. Lead role is being portrayed by model, who has an uncanny resemblance to the cricketer. Jemima Khan’s role is played by Saeeda Imtiaz, a Pakistani-American model. Other than that a total of 107 actors are used in the movie and 12 people in the production team.

Obama's Bus Tour is to be Paid by Taxpayers


The news of President Obama’s upcoming tour of states of Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa is making a lot of buzz online. According to associated press, the $1.1 million bus is, “an impenetrable-looking conveyance the size of a cross-country Greyhound, painted all in black, with dark tinted windows and flashing red and blue lights.” The bus will be hitting road for the tour of the three Battleground states on august 15.
The secret is said to have ordered two of these buses to chauffer the Commander in chief around United States. They won’t the details about the buses but say that they have same features as those of “The Beast”, the president’s regular ride, the black limo. The White House says that the trip is to be paid by the US taxpayers. Let’s not forget that the purpose of this road trip is to improve the approval ratings of the president, which fell to all time low last week. Obama will talk about jobs and the staggering US economy in this tour as this was the primary reason for his approval ratings to fall in the first place. 

Angry Birds now worth $1.2 billion

The developer of mobile-phone and PC game “Angry Birds”, Rovio Entertainment is said to be in discussions to receive funding that would raise the value of the company to around $1.2 Billion, according to Bloomberg. The investment seems to be a part of the company’s plan for expansion that includes Angry Birds stuffed animal toys, movie and clothing sales at over 200 stores in China and, offices and markets outside Finland

According to Bloomberg, sources said that the most probable companies having such talks with Rovio Entertainment are gaming giants Electronic Arts and Zynga along with media giants News Corp. and Walt Disney.
